Sustainability has become more and more important as natural resources are becoming stripped. We cannot maintain the diversity of life on Earth or Earth’s ecosystems unless we embrace it. All different industries want to help improve and maintain the Earth’s ecosystem and our way of life – for example, building codes use the LEED system to build more sustainably and cosmetic companies have adopted more sustainable packaging to reduce waste and improve chances of recycling and reuse.

 

At -417, we are doing our part to become more sustainable in our packaging and the way we are giving back to the Earth. Firstly, our products are never tested on animals. 50% of our cosmetic products don’t have any carton packaging. 36% of our products come in glass jars. 100% of our bottles and plastic jars are made from recyclable materials and all of our tubes are recyclable. We are also cognizant of small actions that could bring about tremendous changes. As a company we participate by planting trees, which as a result, is helping to create a sustainable environment because amazingly, trees help clean the air we breathe.

Our cleansers and toners are a great start to remove makeup and impurities, followed by our cleansing gels that will exfoliate and cleanse your skin.

One of our best sellers is the Micro Luffa Foaming Gel . It’s a vegan facial cleanser that utilizes the unique and sensorial luffa bean as it gently exfoliates, cleanses and stimulates renewed circulation. To use, apply a thin layer daily over the skin and rub in a circular motion until a nice foam is created, then rinse well. It is suitable for all skin types.

Experience the renewing sensation of our Mineral Infusion Hydrating Toner, which helps tighten pores and rebalances the skin’s pH, while softening the skin for a more youthful appearance. To use, gently wipe all over until skin is completely clean from makeup and impurities. No need to rinse off.

Our Mineral Vitalizing Peel-Off Mask is a vegan mentholated peel-off mask that leaves the skin with a marvelous cooling sensation while it gently exfoliates, cleans & softens. To use, apply to clean skin avoiding the eye area and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then peel it off with dry fingers as one piece or remove with circular movements.
